Ohio Law - Lindsay’s Law

The state of Ohio has developed guidlines to inform coaches, parents and youth athletes about the very real concern of cardiac arrest. The Ohio Department of Health, the Ohio Department of Education, the Ohio High School Athletic Association, the Ohio Chapter of the American College of Cardiology helped to develop materials to educate families participating in youth sports.

Lindsay’s Law, Ohio Revised Code 3313.53103707.58 and 3707.59 went into effect in 2017 and all all coaches, parents and players are required to review and sign the documentation annually for EVERY sport played - this is Ohio law.
